2. Orders and contract acceptance
Submitting an inquiry or receiving a quotation does not require Glintmade to accept an order. An order placed at checkout is accepted when PayPal authorizes the payment. An order agreed by email is accepted when Glintmade confirms the final pro forma invoice and receives the required payment.
We may decline or cancel an unproduced order if a product or material is unavailable, information is incomplete, a price or description contains an obvious error, production is not feasible, the requested deadline cannot be met, the content is illegal or prohibited, or we reasonably believe that the supplied material infringes another person's rights. If we cancel an unproduced paid order, we will refund the amount received for the unproduced scope.
03
3. Price, currency and payment
Unless stated otherwise, quotations are issued in US dollars and remain valid for 15 calendar days. The final pro forma invoice controls the confirmed products, specifications, quantity, price, payment instructions and shipping term.
Orders require 100% prepayment. Editor orders and approved designs (products reviewed before ordering) are paid at checkout through PayPal (a PayPal account, a card through PayPal or PayPal Pay Later where offered): the amount is authorized when you pay and captured when production starts, and at the latest 3 days after payment. Bulk and OEM orders set up from an inquiry are paid through PayPal, captured at once, or by bank or cross-border transfer to the beneficiary account shown on the order page or pro forma invoice. Glintmade does not add a separate payment-processing surcharge. A transfer is treated as complete only when the full invoiced amount has been credited to the designated account.
The customer is responsible for fees charged by its remitting bank and any intermediary bank. For SWIFT transfers, the customer should select “OUR” where available so that the full invoiced amount reaches Glintmade. Glintmade bears fees charged by its own receiving, settlement and withdrawal providers. Proof and production timing begins only after any payment shortfall has been received.
The payment memo must include the buyer name, invoice or contract number, and product so that the transfer can be matched to the correct order. Payment instructions remain subject to the receiving provider's country, product and compliance restrictions.
Never send payment to an account supplied through an unverified address or message. If payment details appear to change, verify them directly through info@glintmade.com before transferring funds.

4. Custom products, proofs and cancellation
Custom products are made to customer specifications. The proof, approval, cancellation and repeat-order rules in the Artwork & Production Policy form part of these terms.
Editor orders have no separate proof and cannot be cancelled after payment; an unpaid editor order can be cancelled from the order page and is cancelled automatically 3 days after it was placed. For orders agreed by email, the customer may request revisions before final proof approval, or cancel before paying. After final written approval, or after payment for an exact repeat order, the order enters the production workflow and cannot be cancelled or changed except where Glintmade agrees in writing.
Every product is made to the customer’s design or specifications, so the 14-day right of withdrawal that consumers in the EU, the UK and some other countries have for distance purchases does not apply (for example Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and regulation 28(1)(b) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). This does not affect the customer’s rights when a product is faulty or not as ordered; see the Returns & Quality Guarantee.
If Glintmade cannot ship an order by the latest ship date shown on the order page, we email the customer, who may choose to wait for the new date or cancel the order for a full refund.
05
5. MOQ and quantity
MOQ depends on product, material, process, design and production configuration. The applicable MOQ appears on the product page, quotation or pro forma invoice. Some products and paid samples may begin at one piece; this does not create a one-piece MOQ promise for every product.
Glintmade will not ship less than the confirmed paid quantity. Any uncharged production overage is supplied free of charge and does not change the invoiced quantity.
06
6. Customer-supplied content and intellectual property
The customer retains ownership of customer-supplied artwork and represents that it has all rights, permissions and licenses needed for Glintmade to review, reproduce, modify for production and manufacture the requested products.
The customer grants Glintmade a limited license to use the supplied material only as reasonably necessary to quote, proof, produce, inspect, pack, ship and support the order. Glintmade will not publish customer artwork or identifiable finished products in a portfolio, advertisement or social-media post without written permission. Non-identifiable process images may be used only where they do not reveal the customer's artwork, brand, personal information or confidential project details.
We may refuse or stop work involving content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, threatening or otherwise prohibited by applicable law or platform rules. The customer is responsible for claims arising from rights it did not have in supplied content.
07
7. Packaging
Each product page or quotation may state its default packaging. If no custom retail packaging is confirmed, Glintmade will use factory-standard protective packaging suitable for the product and agreed transport method. Packaging photographs are illustrative; we may substitute functionally equivalent protective material that does not reduce protection or alter an approved branded retail presentation.
Custom bags, backing cards, tags, boxes, barcodes, labels, inserts and other retail packaging are specified and priced separately. Printed branded packaging requires written proof approval.
Customer-supplied packaging must arrive by the agreed date, in a usable condition and in sufficient quantity with reasonable allowance for production handling. Delay, shortage or incompatibility may change the schedule. Sorting, assembly, storage and return of unused customer-supplied packaging may be quoted separately.
Minor compression or marks on an outer shipping carton are not a product defect if the products inside are undamaged. Environmental claims such as recyclable or biodegradable are made only when supported for the selected material.
08
8. Product use, safety and compliance
Products may contain small components and may present a choking hazard. Unless a product page and supporting documentation expressly state otherwise, Glintmade products are not toys and are not intended for children under three years of age. Keep small parts away from babies and young children.
The customer must tell Glintmade before ordering if a product is intended for children, food contact, cosmetics, medical use, personal protection, safety-critical use or another regulated application. No certification, test standard, market authorization or fitness for a special purpose is included unless it is expressly identified in the quotation and supported by applicable documentation.
The customer is responsible for confirming labeling, warnings, import, resale and product-compliance requirements in its target market. Glintmade is responsible for producing the confirmed specification and supplying only those documents expressly included in the order.
09
9. Delivery, title and risk
The Shipping & Delivery Policy and the Incoterm stated on the pro forma invoice form part of these terms. Ownership transfers after Glintmade receives full payment. Risk and delivery responsibility transfer according to the confirmed Incoterm and carrier handover arrangement, subject to the specific logistics remedies stated in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
10
10. Events outside reasonable control
Glintmade is not responsible for delay caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, sanctions, power or network failure, material shortage, labor disruption, customs-policy change, port closure or carrier interruption.
We will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce the effect. If there is a substantial delay, the customer may cancel and receive a refund for the unproduced scope. Custom goods that have already entered production, or have been partly or fully produced to the approved specification, cannot normally be cancelled because of an external delay.
11
11. Quality claims and limitation of liability
The Returns & Quality Guarantee forms part of these terms. Glintmade's remedy for an approved defect is limited to remanufacture and suitable reshipment or refund of the affected scope.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glintmade is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of resale opportunity, loss of event revenue, advertising cost or reputational loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders to reflect changes in products, law, technology, payment methods or operating systems. The version accepted with an order continues to apply to that order unless both parties agree otherwise in writing. If a material change is required before production and the customer does not accept it, the customer may cancel the affected unproduced scope for a refund.
13
13. General terms
If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. No third party may enforce these terms unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms and each contract between the parties are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these terms excludes any mandatory right that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 calendar days after one party gives written notice of the dispute, it shall be submitted to the Shanghai Sub-Commission of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration under the CIETAC rules in effect when the arbitration is commenced. The seat of arbitration shall be Shanghai, the language shall be English, and the tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.
