HOW TO CHOOSE
Start with the finished size, artwork structure and the way the keychain will be used. Clear, glitter, epoxy and multi-part constructions can change opacity, edge appearance, hardware balance and how front-and-back artwork must be prepared. Select a current product for its core construction, then choose the size, print direction, finish, accessory style, accessory color and quantity, and design the keychain in the online editor. The editor preview shows the finished size, cut line, white ink and finish, automatic checks flag low resolution, borders under 1 mm and artwork that would cut into separate pieces, and production follows that preview with no separate proof.
| Format | Choose it when | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Single charm | One clear silhouette and everyday hardware are the priority | Actual size, border and hanging hole |
| Shaker or magnetic | Movement or connecting parts are central to the concept | Part clearance, orientation and assembly |
| Linked series | Several coordinated pieces need a defined sequence | Connector position, order and total balance |
AI, PDF, PSD and transparent PNG files are accepted. Vector or layered artwork is preferred; prepare raster files at 300 DPI in CMYK and outline important fonts. Keep front, back, white ink and special effects on clearly named layers so they can be checked accurately before production.
The quoted size follows the longest finished edge of the acrylic charm and includes the clear border, not only the printed artwork. Our standard outline is usually prepared around the design, and the hanging hole needs enough acrylic around it to resist cracking. Set or mark any required hole position before you order.
Single-sided artwork is viewed from the front and normally uses white ink behind the print. A repeated design on the reverse may appear mirrored; if the artwork contains text, directional details or a different back view, upload separate front and back files with the same outer shape.
Split rings are familiar for everyday keys, lobster clasps are quick to attach, swivel clasps reduce twisting, and short chains add movement or extra reach. The correct connector also depends on charm size, weight and intended use, so confirm both the hardware finish and attachment style before you order.
Clear acrylic gives the cleanest transparent look. Holographic or glitter materials add reflected texture, an epoxy dome creates a smooth raised surface, and shaker construction holds loose inserts inside a chamber. Special effects should support the artwork rather than obscure small details.
Use CMYK artwork and include a Pantone reference when a brand color is critical. White ink controls which areas stay opaque, while areas without white ink allow the acrylic or special material to show through. Put transparency, gradients, holographic masks and other effects on separate named layers.
There is no separate proof for keychains designed in the editor. The live preview shows the finished size, outline, hole position, white ink and finish, automatic checks flag problems such as low resolution, and production follows that preview and the specs on your order. Styles made outside the editor are confirmed in design review, and an approved design can be ordered as a single sample; bulk orders agreed by email can arrange a pre-production sample. Some acrylic styles arrive with removable protective film; peel it after inspection and avoid abrasive cleaning.
Yes. Name each artwork file clearly and assign the required quantity to every design. Construction, print sides, special effects, hardware, quantity and packaging all affect the schedule and price. After you order, pieces are produced, inspected, assembled and packed to the confirmed order specs.
