2027 US anime conventions and comic con calendar

Glint presenting an illustrated 2027 United States anime and comic convention calendar

This working calendar collects dates that US convention organizers have already published for 2027. It is designed for fans planning travel and for creators working backward from applications, sampling, production and inventory deadlines.

The quick answer

This checked calendar lists nine 2027 US conventions, from Katsucon in February to Anime NYC in August. Comic-Con has now published July 22–25, with Preview Night on July 21. Dates were checked against organizer pages on September 12, 2026; ticket, guest and application status must be checked separately.

01

Key takeaways

Use these decisions to guide the detailed checks below.

  • Use the event year and organizer source together.
  • Treat event dates, ticket sales, guests and application deadlines as separate facts.
  • Record local time zones for deadlines.
  • Set inventory arrival before travel, with time for receiving checks.

02

Confirmed 2027 US convention dates

The table below collects organizer-published dates checked on September 12, 2026. It is a selected planning calendar, not a list of every US event. Follow the official links in the next section before committing to a particular show.

Use organizer-controlled dates, venue pages, ticket rules and guest announcements as separate checks before committing to travel or production deadlines.

04

Major dates that are still being monitored

Comic-Con International has moved into the confirmed-date table after the organizer published its 2027 dates. The New York Comic Con homepage checked for this revision still promotes its 2026 event, so this guide does not infer a 2027 date from it.

A future ticket, guest or application announcement is a separate update from the event date. If two organizer pages conflict, keep the uncertainty visible and seek clarification rather than filling the gap with a previous-year schedule.

05

How fans can use the calendar

Start with the event date and city, then verify ticket release, refund rules, hotel blocks and daily hours on the organizer's website. A confirmed event date does not mean every ticket type, guest or program has been announced.

Avoid non-refundable travel until the event and the part of the program you care about are sufficiently confirmed. Guest appearances can change even after announcement.

06

How creators and independent brands can use it

Treat the show date as the final delivery deadline, not the day production should finish. Work backward through receiving, inspection, packing, production, proof approval and sampling.

Artist Alley and exhibitor applications often close months before the show. Follow the official application page separately and record deadlines in your own calendar.

  • Application and portfolio deadline
  • Table acceptance and payment date
  • Sample approval date
  • Bulk production cutoff
  • Freight buffer and receiving date

07

How this calendar is maintained

The dates and status notes in this revision were checked on September 12, 2026. A visible article update is a record of that check, not a promise of continuous monitoring. Reopen the organizer source before a booking or production commitment.

Glintmade is not affiliated with these events. Organizers control ticketing, guests, participation and policies.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does a confirmed date mean tickets are available?

No. Ticket sales have their own schedule and conditions. Open the current ticket page for the selected event.

Is Preview Night included in the main Comic-Con dates?

The organizer lists July 22–25 for the 2027 event and July 21 for Preview Night. Check the relevant badge conditions rather than assuming every ticket includes the extra evening.

Why is New York Comic Con 2027 not in the date table?

The homepage reviewed for this update promotes the 2026 event. This calendar does not infer a 2027 date from the previous year.

When should an artist set the inventory arrival date?

Choose a date before travel that leaves time to inspect and organize the actual order. Ask the supplier to review feasibility for your quantities and destination; the show opening is not a production-completion target.
